| It's been a journey...
There have been casualties...
It is a war after all...
When will the fighting end?
Who will come out the victor?
Why do we constantly let people fall for our benefit?
God wants us to follow him...
We are His children and He just wants us...
Our struggles as well as our victories...
We just need to realize...we are connected in Him.
I ache for the body of Christ

| Why do we criticize media?
Why can't a story about a tortured soul seeking redemption from past sins have the same kind of impact as biblical stories along the same lines?
What is wrong with our generation's literature taking the form of video and dramatic expression?
How far do we have to stray from what is called the "norm" until we become it?
I say that the only reason that people still criticize what we as the next generation of Christian's use as expression is because they are stuck in the thought that we cannot reach people through this and people cannot be affected by a fleeting two or three hour drama. Well, I must say that I disagree. I have witnessed more concentration in the people of today on a story drawn out through 3 to 4 months of episodes or a trilogy of movies (actually, if the writers and directors of the movie are really good, a single movie) than I have ever witnessed in any other form of meaningful expression.
I am not saying that we have a book burning (actually, books are a close second in my mind but I digress) because guess where all those stories start.
On paper.
Black and white.
They may not be novels that span volumes or scripture but they are literature.
Our literature.
The geniuses behind the epics of today will be what will define our culture in the 21st century for generations to come. Just as Shakespeare's plays and poems have lived on to be immortalized in countless films, have been reproduced countless times in High School classrooms and auditoriums around the nation and been reenacted on stages around the world, so will our media. Our legacy is digital, spanning all the major genres of theatrical emotion and pressed into history in a format that can last. Will the movies of today be preserved? Maybe not. However, the emotions, concepts and depths that are behind them will live on. In the writers, directors, performers and yes, even the viewers (or experience sharers if you will) which are the most important of them all.
A family's story is passed from generation to generation.
By storytellers.

| Do you remember the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah?
How about the deportation of the Israelites from the promise land?
Does God still show His power against ungodliness?
Just food for thought...
My mind is muddled with confusion right now.
I'll yell later...I need to find my footing before I judge anything.

| I am done...
I have heard too much
too quickly if you will
I want change
and I don't care how it happens
I just pray that God still governs my refuge
and that the delusions that haunt the place I love are corrected
Unfortunately, my mental state right now is...
BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY!!!!!
